Every Vishul have their own Base Coat Color determined in their DNA. The Base coat color should be picked from the corresponding swatch below!
Markings should be natural to the Vishul's base coat color, unless stated otherwise. Whether they be lighter or darker than the base coat, they should always remain natural.
- Colors that are natural in almost every case are: white, cream, brown, and black. You could choose any of these, and various shades of them, when designing your Vishul's markings.
*However, keep in mind that markings still need to be natural to the base coat color. It may not make sense to pair cream with a bright green color, for instance, or a deep brown on a white Vishul.
- Markings that are "natural to the base coat color" should appear to be 'related' to the Vishul's base color. If the base coat color is a greyish-green, then an even lighter green color,
that is still grey-ish green in color, would be natural. However, a vivid/saturated red would be unnatural in color.
Those colors are not closely related and its saturated color contradicts the base coats desaturated greyish-green.
Base coat color may NOT have gradient. There are some markings that allow gradient but it is not allowed to appear on the base coat.
Vishul
MAY HAVE a halo making it pop out of the background a little bit. This however means that the halo
CANNOT be hard edged, spread out too far from the lineart/base or be of
any color with saturation. Halo can only appear
black or white in color and needs to have softened edges all around.
The halo can and should have opacity present of some sort.
As you can see on the
Good halo examples below, all the 4 variations look soft all around, are not too far spread out from the base and yet still make the Vishul pop out of the background.
