VISHULS' LORE
Forced to coexist with each other, Corsac Foxes and dragon creatures got closer and eventually along with drastic changes to the environment both species started getting mutations and
unexpected unknown characteristics while learning to live in their new habitat. Vishuls were then born by natural phenomenon.
Life during the early stages of Pleistocene and beginning of the first ice age pushed the Vishuls to seek home even further from the expanding ice and continuous blizzards.
Despite their strong willpower to flee before getting overrun by the giant glaciers, never-ending snow storms and freezing temperature, remaining Vishuls realised it was mandatory to
find a permanent home, gather resources and prepare themselves for the upcoming event.
Vishuls were excellent swimmers and divers from the beginning, giving them a decent advantage when crossing the oceans around them. The most challenging part for them was to cross
the great Fahil Ocean as it was known for fatal maelstroms and rogue waves hitting coastlines with deathly force. Flavia, the first and highest ranked Original of the Vishuls,
was determined to lead her pack anywhere they could settle down.
The Originals were slowly losing their hope while they made their way through the great ocean with no land to be seen anywhere. At some point however Flavia saw a glimpse of an island
and mountain tips in the horizon. There was still hope left. With all the power Originals had left, they challenged the giant waves and reigning stormy weather.
Tired and exhausted, the Originals made it to Cynther Island.
SPECIES INFORMATION
Vulpes Draconae
(V. Draconae)
Vishuls are large canine-like creatures with dragon attributes and completely own language which they use for communication. No other species can understand it making them absolutely unique and even slightly terrifying in other
species' eyes. As Vishuls are large in size, their height varies from 140cm to 170cm. However their structure is quite light overall, putting their weight between 200lbs and 300lbs.
Vishuls have some unique characteristics inherited from both original species. The species has multiple different types of horns on head and muzzle and their head looks dragon-like with canine ears.
Vishuls have long and slim legs with canine paws, long tail and usually small spinal spikes all the way from neck to the tip of the tail. Only exception for the spinal spikes is when the Vishul has the
mutation called "Spikeless" which causes the Vishul to miss all the spikes.
When it comes to differences between female and male Vishuls, the most notable attributes are the following:
|
FEMALE |
MALE |
FUR LENGTH: |
Usually longer all around the body, especially on paws, cheeks, shoulders and jaw. |
Usually shorter all around the body, no matter the coat type. |
HORNS: |
Standard horns turn up OR front. |
Standard horns turn ONLY towards back. |
So there are only those 2 main factors as differences between male and female Vishuls. Of course with longer fur types the fur length could be quite difficult to notice
at a glance, but that is when you check the horns too as they turn to opposite directions most of the times.
DIET
Vishuls are omnivorous creatures feeding on plants and berries but mostly leaning towards meat. They feed on from tiny rodents all the way to wide variety of fish and prey animals
like deer, birds, bears, rabbits, wild equus, etc. One should know however that a Vishul on a herbivorous diet can have completely same traits and strength than a Vishul with fully carnivorous diet.
